Diplotaxis erucoides, White Wall Rocket, Scorpion Rocket

£1.49

Leaves are eaten raw or cooked, with a strong mustard-like flavour. They can be added to salads. Scorpion is related to wild rocket but a little faster to mature, and also quicker to bolt so essential to harvest at young stage. Also makes very tasty microgreens.

Sow in situ in the spring or autumn. The seed usually germinates in the autumn, surviving as an over-wintering rosette.

Prefers a sunny position in any normal garden soil. Tolerates moderate shade.
